桃源郷芸術祭2020にて出展したアート作品「Image picture」です。
北茨城の山上に位置するガラス工房シリカからは、澄んだ空、一本線の海、林と町並み、山々が見渡せます。こののどかな風景は、とても美しく雄大で、北茨城らしい風景だと感じました。
この景色を構成する空・海・町・山から印象に残った色を抽出してもらい、印象の写真＝「Image picture」を制作しました。
この山上で働く人々やガラス工房を訪れた人々に協力をお願いし、22人の「Image picture」を集めました。秋の午後、秋の夕暮れ、冬の朝の3つの場面から成っています。

For each element of the landscape (sky,sea,town,forests), the color of each impression was chosen by people who are connected to the land. This work visualizes the difference in the appearance of others.
Based on the view from a glass studio on a mountain in Kitaibaraki,Japan, I collected the colors of the impressions of 22 people who worked or visited there.
There are three scenes: an autumn afternoon, an autumn dusk, and a winter morning.
